BUYING GUIDANCE
Choosing the Model A for your line
Why the top trigger matters
The Model A places its trigger on the top of the body, so the dispensing force runs straight down through the wrist and into the container below. For a team working over a bench, a prep tray or a line of open burger boxes, that downward press is the natural motion. The operator sees the nozzle and the target at the same time, which makes the Model A the easier of the two units to train someone on in a single shift.
It suits stations where the container sits below the hand and stays still: assembly lines, dressing stations, dessert plating and drinks service. If your team dispenses into deep containers, at awkward angles or away from the body, the bottom-trigger grip of the Model B will be the more comfortable tool over a long shift.
What the 300ml reservoir gives you per fill
The dispense range runs from 3ml to 20ml. A full 300ml reservoir therefore covers 15 servings at the 20ml maximum, 30 servings at 10ml and 60 servings at 5ml. Knowing that number for your own portion size tells you how many refills a service period will need, and whether one unit per station is enough or whether a second should be charged and standing by.
Accuracy is held to plus or minus 0.5ml. On a 10ml portion that is a five percent band; on a 20ml portion it is 2.5 percent. The value is not any single serving but the fact that the tenth portion of a shift matches the first, no matter who is holding the unit. Three speed settings let the same tool handle a thin vinaigrette and a thick aioli without the operator changing technique.
Keeping it in service
Product-contact surfaces are FDA food-grade, and the body carries an IPX4 splash rating, so wipe-down cleaning during service is fine while full immersion is not. The 2000mAh battery charges over standard Type-C in under two hours, which for most kitchens means charging between services rather than mid-shift. At 851g filled it is built for one-handed use across a full service period.
Model A or Model B?
Both units share the same 300ml reservoir, the same 3ml to 20ml range, the same accuracy and the same battery. The difference is how the tool sits in the hand. Choose the Model A for downward dispensing at a fixed station. Choose the Sauce Machine Model B if your team prefers a pistol grip or needs the rotating nozzle to reach into deep pans and plate at a distance.
