BUYING GUIDANCE
Choosing the Model B for your line
The pistol grip and the long shift
The Model B moves the trigger to the underside of the body, so the unit is held the way a spray gun is held. The fingers curl and pull rather than the palm pressing down, which keeps the wrist closer to neutral. Over a two-hour service that difference is the whole argument for this model: the motion that feels identical for the first ten portions is the one that decides how the hand feels at portion three hundred.
Teams that dispense continuously rather than in short bursts tend to settle on the bottom trigger. It also travels better between stations, because the grip does not assume the container is directly underneath.
Where the 360 degree nozzle earns its place
The rotating nozzle is the Model B feature with no equivalent on the Model A. It lets the outlet be aimed independently of how the body is held, which matters in three situations: dispensing into a deep gastronorm pan where the hand cannot follow the nozzle down, plating at arm length without leaning across the pass, and working into containers stacked at an angle on a busy line.
If your sauces go into shallow open containers on a bench in front of the operator, that rotation is capability you will not use, and the simpler top-trigger action of the Model A is the better fit.
Portion maths and consistency across a team
A 300ml reservoir delivers 15 portions at the 20ml maximum, 30 at 10ml and 60 at 5ml, so your own portion size sets the refill rhythm. Accuracy is held to plus or minus 0.5ml across that whole range. The point of a dispenser is not that any one portion is exact but that the same portion leaves the unit whether it is held by a chef on their fifth year or a new starter on their second shift. Three speed settings cover thin dressings through to heavier sauces without changing the grip.
Care, charging and materials
All product-contact surfaces are FDA food-grade and the unit is CE marked. The IPX4 rating covers splashes and wipe-down cleaning but not immersion. A 2000mAh battery over Type-C reaches full charge in under two hours, so a single unit charged between services will normally carry a full period. If you are still weighing the two grips, the Sauce Machine Model A covers the same specification with a top-trigger action.
